Tremaine Collection, Web App
In partnership with the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation, we strategically repositioned, redesigned, and launched the Tremaine Collection, an interpretation of a virtual museum that brings together one of the finest collections of contemporary art in the nation. Emily Hall Tremaine and Burton G. Tremaine Sr. were visionaries in the modern art community, often supporting and championing young innovative artists that went on to make history through their work. Their friendships with artists such as Jasper Johns, Bridget Riley, and Andy Warhol are told through immersive stories on the site that integrate a collection of personal letters, photographs, and other archival materials that form the Emily Hall Tremaine Papers at the Smithsonian Archives of American Art.
